• "Be careful!" Noah shouted, ready to reach out and stop Brandon. But it was too late, Brandon had already lunged towards Diana.
• Diana sat calmly on the couch, unmoving, as Brandon approached her in a rage. But as soon as he got close enough, she locked eyes with him and suddenly kicked out with a swift, decisive move, hitting him squarely on the wrist and sending the bottle of alcohol flying from his hand. Then, she grabbed him by the hair and slammed his head down hard on the table in front of her, causing a crack to appear in the glass.
