• Lawrence and Patricia exchanged a quick look, "what do you mean by who?" Lawrence gave out a short laugh. "I couldn't find her favourite pair of jewelry, that's what we were talking about." Uneasiness was written all over him knowing fully well Arthur won't let it go if he finds out about what is happening.
• "Oh, poor Patricia." Bella walked towards her, buying the explanation. "What are we going to do now? I could give you one of mine though I'm afraid it might not be your style."
• Patricia smiled, "you shouldn't worry about a mere piece of jewelry, I've got loads of them and can always go home before the event to get a substitute. You should hurry up," pointing to the tray. "Arthur is waiting."
