• I glance at Aria from my office, my eyes roaming over her. She looks beautiful today, and I’m not the only one who notices. So far, Riley has dropped by her desk seven times. Seven times, and it isn’t even noon yet.
• Every time he interrupts her work, she smiles at him, without a trace of annoyance. I watch as he walks up to her yet again, his tablet in hand. I have no doubt he’s asking some complete bullshit questions. I never would have hired him if he needed this much help. Nah. It’s Aria’s attention he’s after, and she doesn’t even realize it.
