• Christian had never been particularly fond of thunderstorms, as he had a fear of it from the very beginning and on this ominous day, he found himself caught in the midst of a particularly fierce one.
• If it was not to fulfill his promise he made with Samson in exchange of his help he would never have left his apartment in the very first place when the weather was so bad outside.
• He had been walking along a desolate road, with no shelter in sight, when the dark clouds gathered overhead, and the heavens roared with anger.
