Chapter 19 Farewell

• After a passionate kiss, Kane held Lani for a while before heading to the bathroom for a quick shower. He then descended to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Although Lani wanted to lend a hand in the kitchen, the sweet memory of the lingering kiss and the intimate atmosphere from moments ago made her shy.
• She sat on the sofa, pretending to be at ease while watching a movie. "Let's eat," Kane announced.
• While Lani was engrossed in the TV, Kane suddenly appeared from behind, wrapping his arms around her. His warm breath, carrying a faint scent of mint, enveloped Lani, creating a familiar and pleasant aroma.
