• Elena's words got stuck in her throat like a lump; she swallowed hard and proceeded into the room. She looked around, unsure of what to do next, and her gaze fell on the couch beside the glass door leading to the balcony.
• She sat down, her palms on her thighs, and shortly after, she heard a knock on the door. The maid greeted her, and Elena stepped aside for her to come in; she dropped all sorts of products onto the bed before leaving.
• After making sure she was gone, Elena went through the stuff the maid had brought. They were a pair of pink lingerie pajamas, a camisole sleeveless top, and matching shorts made of thin fabric. There was also a bottle of body wash, shampoo, a brand-new toothbrush, mouthwash, toothpaste, and lastly, a pack of condoms.
