Chapter 45: Lillian

• I woke up to the sun kissing my face softly, Danny was not beside me. Why?, because I'm at my parent's. After waking up in the hospital, I was surprised to see that the wedding preparations were on. Yes, guys I will be getting married this Saturday but I'm not happy, my best friend is lying in the hospital and there's nothing I could do to help her.
• “Lily, Darling” My mom's voice called out to me down the stairs. Standing up sluggishly from the bed I threw the duvet angrily on the floor and went into the bathroom to brush and shower.
• “Lily?” Mom called me again but this time, she was inside my room. Her voice sounded excited as I wondered what would make my mom happy this morning.
