• As Jake followed the path indicated on the map, our surroundings gradually shifted. The dense misty woods began to thin, and before long, a broader road emerged from the shadows. A sense of relief washed over both of us as the forest gave way to a clearer path.
• Hours later, as the sun began to dip below the horizon, Jake's weariness became evident. He turned to me with a tired smile. "I think it's time for a rest stop. I could use a break."
