• Damon's POV:
• I stood amazed at Bevin as he fought with Alec. Although his rank was below his, he held his ground so damn well. His moves were swift, and his strength was that of a lead warrior.
• When Alec brought him to the training field, I had thought he was going to introduce him to the other warriors. Instead, he asked Bevin to stand opposite him and ordered him to fight as a way of testing his skills. Knowing how most warriors acted, I thought Bevin would avoid his command out of fear. But he surprised me when he easily agreed. Now I understood why; his fighting technique was very unique and different.
