Chapter 41

• No!! I shouted within myself. I couldn't die like this. I couldn't leave the world without any achievement and fulfillment. I still had a long list of things I wanted to achieve before a certain age at intervals. I had another list of things I would like to try out and places I would like to visit. So, if there was one thing I knew clearly about my current situation, it would be that I wasn't dying so easily.
• I've faced worse situations than this current one and I had come out of it triumphantly; I could do the same with this also. With that determination in mind, I got up from where I sat. I held a part of the vehicle for support with a hand and began to slap the barricade between me and my abductor, only stopping at intervals to listen for voices or anything to give me a clue that I've been heard.
• When I didn't hear any response from them, I switched my tactics.
