- After fifteen more days at the hospital, Sinclair was improving. She no longer slept on her belly, though she found it more comfortable sleeping on top of him. He didn't mind. He was used to it. Preferring to be as close to her as possible.
- Their fifteenth day looked promising, she woke up with a faint smile, her soft brown orbs no longer registered discomfort. He felt her staring at him intently, his whole body became alive. Keeping his eyes closed to savor the moment, he murmured. "Good morning, sweetheart." His deep voice was gravelly from sleep.
