Chapter 25

• The week dragged on so slowly that I couldn’t help but pray that Friday should arrive soon. Going through the previous days without getting off myself hasn’t been easy. I was tempted to finish off in my shower one morning, but I just couldn’t. I don’t know if he would truly act in his words, but I don’t want to find out despite how I have been on edge the whole week, but finally today is Friday, and I just can’t wait for the day to be over.
• “Let’s go shopping after lunch today.” Rose suggested as we were going for lunch.
