• Liora stayed in the hospital until 6 PM. before returning home. After dinner, she entered the studio and carefully wiped down each of Leander's paintings with a dry towel, reorganising them one by one.

It was more than halfway done, depicting a young man and woman lying in a pink sea of flowers, snuggled together with sweet smiles. The sky was pink-purple, and the colours of the painting were romantic and vibrant. The two bicycles in the corner hadn't been completed yet.
• On Liora's birthday, Leander had given her a pair of matching bicycles—one pink and one blue. Without any airs of being born into wealth, Leander seldom drove the family's sports car.
