• Hafid needed to reflect on what had happened with Sylvia. Although he appeared calm, he felt uneasy about the girl who had come between them. He remembered the stain on the sheet that Sylvia had shown him and how it had affected her. It was important for him to know that there were no consequences. It would be a disaster for this girl to have a baby with him.
