Chapter 428 Being Framed
- "Fanny..." Joseph pushed the door open and called out to her, who had her back turned. "Angela didn't pick up my call."
- It was clear that he did not think much of Angela. Fanny tucked her phone away swiftly, but she did not look back at Joseph right away. Rather, she made an effort to control her demeanor and calm herself down. She recognized that Kaydron was the one who had sent both the text and the picture. The logs of the outgoing calls revealed it to her as the number was the same. Kaydron even used her phone to make the missed call that morning. He was making threats to her. He had used the previous night's indecent images of her as leverage.
- Fanny felt a shiver run down her spine, her nerves on edge. Initially, she thought she had just encountered a disgusting stray dog, but now it seemed the stray dog was threatening her. She could not let him get away with it. She had blamed Angela for the previous night's incident, even though she knew it was Kaydron. She did not feel guilty for shifting the blame.
