• Kasey grinned up at Chris as they walked to the dining hall for dinner. “Thanks for waking me early,” she whispered. He just smiled and tucked her under his shoulder.
• When they stopped to talk to Patrick outside the building, a few celebrants stumbled out. All of them had over-celebrated at one time or another, so they laughed at the revelers.
• Kasey stepped close to Rachel to let them pass when one of the younger drunk males put his arm around Kasey. “Hey, beautiful...come have a drink with us.”
