Chapter 8 We Made Vows

• I felt proud of the way she defended us as I glared at Marion.
• "You went too far, you're nobody to us so better take your leave before I get the guards to help you with that!" I said with gritted teeth.
• Marion swallowed hard "Then, what about the money?? We have to go with it" Marion said shamelessly.
• "Yes that's right, son you can't just abandon us just like that!" Mr Robertson said while his wife nodded in support.
• "I'm not your son, we aren't related so get the fuck out of my house" I was a bit patient with them as the man was the one who gave birth to my wife.
• "You won't suck even a penny from my husband," Amelia said as she grabbed my hand which I stared down at our hand.
• "You watch your mouth, he bought you with good money" Marion spitted.
• "We still got married, we made vows to each other," Amelia said and I wondered where that came from.
• At that point, I lost it as I beckoned to the guards at the side and they grabbed them.
• "Heyy don't touch me you rascal" Marion shouted but the guard didn't budge as he carried her on his shoulder.
• "Drop my wife you son of a bastard, drop her now!" Mr Robertson shouted but he was pushed out by another guard.
• "Honey help me!" Marion said as her stomach churned because she was on the strong shoulder of the guard.
• Amelia sighed as she wiped her forehead and gazed at me "I'm sorry for the trouble they caused"
• "It's okay, it's not your fault," I said to her.
• "Well, thanks for defending me earlier though, ahh I have to start thinking straight cause once this contract expires in six months, I will have to go somewhere else, I'm not staying with those couple," Amelia said as she dragged me on her hair along as she walked along.
• I was vexed when she mentioned that contract again but I swallowed it because I brought it up so I had to deal with it.
• Soon I entered the car and drove off to the warehouse and Elliot met up with me.
• "Mr. X we just found out that, the Red Kings now have a new leader!" Elliot said and I frowned deeply.
• The Red Kings were my mortal enemy, i and the owner couldn't stand each other.
• We were always on each other's tail, biting ourselves till one had to die.
• "It's impossible for a mafia to change leader all of a sudden!" I said as it wasn't accurate "Search deeper"
• "I thought that too and that's why I asked Gary to go do the research"
• Elliot said.
• I nodded at that as I made my way into the warehouse that was filled with Guns and other weapons.
• It was a legal den unlike The Red Kings who were illegal.
• I was licensed to sell this stuff, and my status in the country topped that of the president.
• "What about the silencers I asked for??" I asked as I took a small pistol from the table.
• "It's being shipped here and it'll arrive in two days"
• Just then, George and Liam walked in.
• "Hey, man!" George said as he made his way in.
• I didn't glaze at them as I slowly made my way to the chair there and sat.
• "The battle between us and the Red King is so tough," George said as he also took a seat.
• "They seem to have come back in full force after you uprooted them from this country, I think they're back for revenge" Liam analyzed and I snorted at that.
• "They were attacking innocent citizens and they just happened to beat up my little brother in school, and who touches my brother, touches me" I snarled.
• "I still can't believe that this deep hatred resulted from the issue with your brother!" George said with narrowed eyes "Are you keeping something from us??" He asked and I just turned away.
• "George stop probing, he can handle his shit," Liam said, he was matured compared to George and sometimes I wonder how he handles his wife or rather.
• How his wife handles him.
• "Where are your women??" I asked them as the fight was going on with the red kings, their wives might be in danger.
• "I've tightened the security in my house, she's in the house with our son," Liam said as he crossed his legs.
• "My newly wedded wife is not the type to sit in one place, so I ordered bodyguards to go with her to her office," George said and I nodded.
• "What about your wife??" Liam asked instead.
• "Yeahhh how's our sister in law doing??" George asked and I saw Liam glared at him.
• I only chuckled "She's doing good, she's married to a don so she is well taken care of, " I said Coolly and took out a cigarette from the box before I lit it and buffed out a mouthful of smoke from my mouth.
• "That aside, I ordered my men to give them a warning by destroying their warehouse, now I think it's going to be rough these upcoming days," I said slowly as he dragged from the cigarette.
• George and Liam nodded "Let's go to the office," Liam said and I got up with them.
• I gave Elliot some instructions before leaving, Elliot was in charge of overseeing the activities of the warehouse as that was his office for torturing traitors and imposters.
• The three of us got into our various cars and drove off not knowing that a person was using a telescope to watch us from afar.
