• Xander’s POV
• When I woke up from sleep, I went to check on Ashley so that I could inform her about the dinner party that is being held tonight in honor of our wedding. she isn’t in so I guess she must be downstairs eating her breakfast. I headed straight for the kitchen and was surprised that I didn’t find her there.
• “Did you see a ginger-haired lady?.” I asked my cook Mary and her daughter Rose. I am not sure they know Ashley by name so I decided to describe her features to them.
