Chapter 36 Teasing Ricardo
- Ricardo struggled to wake up due to a hangover. He wrapped himself in the duvet, waves of nausea adding to his misery. His phone pinged with message after message, getting up was the issue. One of the reasons he hated drinking liquor. The aftermath was terrible. As he shifted to get his phone with his head still buried under a pillow
- Ricardo only grasped a little of it, and it slipped through his fingers and landed heavily on the floor
- “Damn it,” he muttered and shoved the pillow off his head and slowly sat upright. His brain felt like it would swell beyond the capacity of his skull, and now his dehydration was too obvious to ignore. Again his stomach lurched and gurgled. Perhaps some painkillers would help too. He raised his heavy eyelids halfway, only for them to fall shut. He raised them again and swung his bare feet to the carpet again.
