Chapter 9 Abducted

Amelia paced around her room with a worried expression on her face. She heard the main gate make a sound and she rushed to the window to check, but it was just the wind pushing the gate. She sighed heavily and walked to sit on her bed. After sitting for a few seconds, she stood up and walked out of the room, dragging her feet to Rey's bedroom.
She pushed the door open, with her mouth pressed together in a thin line, her heart racing in anticipation and her eyes looking hopeful. But after looking around and seeing no one inside, her face fell. She decided to hold on to the tiny thread of hope left in her as she went into his bathroom, but he still wasn't there.
Amelia had a sullen look on her face as she slowly walked to his bed and sank into it.
