Chapter 28 The Further, The Better

• Leah opened the door immediately. She was shocked by the overwhelming smell of blood. The man in front of her was covered in blood, but he was still calm and didn’t seem to be injured. It was someone else’s blood. Leah figured it out after she recalled the screams she heard previously.
• “What happened outside?”
• “Don’t bother.” The man pulled her arms and took her away. They passed through the corridor while people were rushing at them. A blade appeared out of nowhere in the man’s hand, and he slashed all of them with it. Their blood almost splattered on Leah’s face.
