Chapter 23 You're A Liar

• The door rang and Edan let go of the beast in his arms.
• "That careerist!" How did you allow me to talk to me like that, Edan?! I don't tolerate it; I don't tolerate it! Vivian continued to shout, red with rage and disheveled.
• "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, VIVIAN!" Edan shouted, letting go of the anger he had been enduring for a long time. Vivian froze, never before, in any of her outbursts, had Edan spoken to her like that. "You and I need to talk, but not now, pour yourself a drink, sit down, calm down, and you'd better wait for me here!" Edan made his way to the door, but stopped before he got out. "And I don't want another show when I get back!" The door rang again, Edan was gone.
