Chapter 64 Humiliation
- The golden sunlight peeked inside the lavish hotel room through the small gap in the white curtains. Athena, who had just turned her body around while smuggling inside the white blanket, frowned when the light fell directly in her face. She let out a small groan while raising her palm a little to block the sudden source of light. She tried to open her eyes after blinking a few times to adjust to the lights. As she tried to move her body to stretch a little, she felt a little sore down there, making her instantly remember the deed she did last night. A small hint of blush crept on her face, making her clutch tighter to her chest.
- All of a sudden, she realised Roman wasn’t on the bed. She bit her lips while trying to peek into the other corner of the room, trying to see if he was present or not. It didn’t take her long enough to spot his tall figure standing at the entrance of the balcony, smoking some cigarettes. He looked like he had already taken a shower, as he was already dressed in a black suit. A frown covered her beautiful face as she slowly got up before sitting on the bed with her legs crossed. She didn’t like the smell of cigarettes; it always made her feel nauseous. Probably feeling her gaze on his back, he slowly turned around. Athean was a little dazed when his blue eyes fell on hers. They looked extremely cold and apathetic. Totally different from how they were yesterday. Athena cleared her throat slightly as she gripped the blanket tightly to her chest, trying to cover herself a little. She didn't know why she suddenly began to feel a little shy under his gaze.
- “You are already up; you should have woken me too.” She was the first one to break the silence as she clutched the blanket tightly near her chest. He didn't respond to her as he walked towards the table before smashing the rest of the cigarettes in there. There was something wrong with the way he was behaving, but Athena couldn't pinpoint what it was.
