Chapter 7 Red Bear Sect's Attack On Xianghe City

  • "Blood God Palm!"
  • Chang Wutian could no longer hide his shock. The blood palm print on the wall just above the altar was a legendary punch mark that was greatly feared by both straight and cult people.
  • "Which fellow came to visit? I'm sorry we didn't give you a welcome," Chang Wu Tian greeted, trying to break the ice.
  • Suddenly, the young man dressed all in red disappeared. No one knew how he left the place. Even Chang Wutian, who was one of the Angels of the Martial World, couldn't figure out how he left.
  • All faces became tense. An inscription was now displayed under the red palm. The inscription read, 'In a week, behead those two, or the Fire Star Sect will be nothing but a name.'
  • Master, carry out that person's will. If you can't bear it, we can do it ourselves."
  • Chang Wutian sighed heavily. His once-fierce desire to fight back had now all but subsided. Putting up a fight against a young man who possessed immeasurable magic was certainly just foolishness that would cost him his life. He certainly did not have the heart to sacrifice the entire Fire Star Sect in vain.
  • "Let's put that matter aside for now. That guy gave us a week's chance. In three days, the people of the Red Bear Sect will attack Xianghe City. Let's help the city leader deal with them. After that, let us leave it to the heavens what will happen," said Chang Wutian, the Fire Star Sect Leader.
  • Three days later, all preparations had been made by the city leaders to confront the Red Bear Sect people who wanted to take over the city. Many people helped, especially the straight-line warriors who happened to be in that place. Even the Fire Star Sect sent all of its members, without fail, to join the fight against the Red Bear Sect.
  • "Is your sect leader not coming to this place?" asked the city leader, who had come to guard the city gate.
  • "The Chief will probably join us, but he'll probably come later, Mr. Leader!" said Yuan Chao, the Fire Star Sect's oldest main disciple.
  • The city leader nodded his head. His attention was then drawn forward to the desert that connected Xianghe City to the next city. A glimpse of sand mist was seen moving quickly towards the city. The sandy mist was mixed with a stretch of reddish color.
  • "They're coming!" he said with a trembling voice at the sheer number of Red Bear Sect people.
  • From the opposite direction of the gate, there were puffs of dust flying. The red-colored line moved quickly toward Xianghe City. It was a line of thousands of people from the Red Bear Sect. They were indeed attacking in full force without leaving a single person in their base.
  • Tension instantly enveloped the soldiers and warriors standing guard at the entrance of Xianghe city. The resistance against the notorious Red Bear Sect was directly led by the leader of Xianghe City, Kiang Lu.
  • "If it looks like our troops are going to be defeated, you guys run away with the people to a temporary hideout. I have prepared the place in such a way that they won't find out," said the city leader.
  • The city leader's warriors and subordinates were visibly moved by his words. The words were a sign that the city leader would remain in place, not wanting to run away if unwanted things happened.
  • "Seraaaang!"
  • The city leader shouted orders only to attack. He didn't want the Red Bear Society's people to get closer to Xianghe City. For him, the farther away the band of criminals were, the safer the city he guarded would be.
  • The warriors on Xianghe City's side, especially those from the Fire Star Sect, moved directly towards the Red Bear Society. A battle was inevitable between the two sides. Meanwhile, the soldiers sent by the kingdom to help did not play much of a role. Because these were martial arts experts who could not possibly be defeated with just arrows and swords of ordinary strength.
  • In the distance, a young man stood at the top of a tree, watching the situation. The lightness of his movements and the fact that he did not move an inch even though he was standing on the top of a leaf, unaffected by the wind, indicated that his knowledge of body lightening and strength had reached the perfect stage. It is very difficult to find a person who possesses this level of body-relaxing knowledge.
  • That person was none other than the mysterious young man who had recently taken the martial world by storm. No one knew who the young man really was. Most people in the martial arts world called him the Death God Swordsman. A little boy who was once besieged by the people of the martial world and now grew into a warrior who possessed terrifying powers That young man was none other than Liong Yun.
  • In the middle of the field, which was quite a distance between Xianghe City's border and the next city, a fierce battle took place. Although it could be called a battle between warriors, this one was far more terrifying. The power of the magic energy that radiated from even the most powerful warriors endangered the people around them. It didn't matter whether they were friends or foes; if they were hit by the reflected energy of the clash of two magicians, they would still be affected.
  • At that time, both sides suffered the same losses. Many from each side died as a result of the clash. But the two leaders did not care about that. For them, the victory of their respective parties was the main thing, even though they had to sacrifice many things.
  • Such is the greedy nature of humans when they want something, so whatever they sacrifice, they don't care. Whereas sometimes what is in our grasp is much better than what is still wishful thinking. Gold in the hand is much more valuable than diamonds in someone's land.
  • "You four red bear chiefs, come down! I see that the skills they have are not above you. Although those who came were mostly according to the Fire Star Sect's main, their abilities are still one level below yours. Of course, this battle will be a victory for all of us," the Red Bear Sect Leader ordered his main subordinates.
  • In the Red Bear Sect, there were only a few important positions after the chief. After the chairman, directly below him were the four red bear commanders. respectively, the leaders of the Western, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Star ranks. Below them are only the group leaders, who are in charge of about 25 people. Each cardinal star has approximately two hundred members.
