• After my episode is over, I look back at the clock and see it's half past noon. My stomach growls, waking up the dog on my lap once more. "Sorry, but I have to get up anyway." I apologize sheepishly and start to move. He jumps right off my lap and his nails make a small tick sound as he lands. "I'm sure you're hungry too."
• He yips in affirmation. Most dogs are always hungry and Baxie is no different. I swear this little thing could eat until he physically explodes.
