• Thankfully, William is unaffected by Daniel's outright show of possession and dominance. He smiles and shakes his head. "No, Your Highness. I'm simply exchanging friendly words with your wife." He turns to me. "Would you care to dance, Annie?"
• "No. She wouldn't care for it at all, actually. Have a good evening Lord Morburn." Once again Daniel interrupts me before I can answer. William walks away with a chuckle before I can get the chance to tell him that a dance would be wonderful. I enjoyed our little conversation and I would've liked to get to know him better.
