Jenna was furious because the man she loved got slapped out of the blue. She stomped over angrily and questioned, "Who are you to slap Ethan?" She raised her arm immediately after, taking advantage of her height and wanting to return the slap to Josephine.
Just as her arm was up in the air, Ethan grabbed her arm and stood in front of Josephine. He warned in a low tone, "Don't touch her, Jenna."
"But she slapped you! You're the distinguished young master of the Quarles Family. Who is she to do that?" Jenna couldn't believe her ears. This was the first time she saw Ethan being slapped, not to mention it was by an ordinary girl.
