Chapter 6
- Chris and Diane let go of Emily's hands until they left the company.
- "Mommy, I love you the most. You should love me the most too," Diane said seriously.
- "Mommy loves me the most," Chris said.
- Emily kissed their foreheads and said gently, "I love both of you with all my heart."
- "I know. I am so sweet. Mommy must love me very much," Diane replied with a satisfied smile.
- Chris pinched Diane's cheek. Diane cried out, "Chris!"
- Emily stopped Diane. "It's almost noon. Let's go have lunch. I have a good friend called Louise. I want you to meet her."
- In the restaurant, Louise saw Emily as soon as she entered.
- She had a bright smile on her face as she walked over and hugged Emily.
- "Emily, I missed you so much. I couldn't believe it was you when I saw you at the engagement party yesterday," Louise choked.
- "Everyone said that you died. I don't believe that and have been looking for you for a long time."
- Louise and Emily grew up together and were very close. Louise was very sad when she heard what happened to Emily.
- Emily hugged Louise tightly. "I'm sorry, Louise. I made you worry."
- Emily felt someone tugging at her clothes. She looked down and saw that both Chris and Diane were holding a tissue in their hands.
- "Are they your children? They're so adorable."
- Louise felt embarrassed and took the tissue to wipe her tears.
- "Yes, they are Chris and Diane, my babies," Emily replied gently.
- The four of them enjoyed their lunch. Then, Louise wanted to go to the shopping center to buy some gifts for Chris and Diane.
- But they did not know that two people were stalking them when they were shopping.
- A clown, holding lots of balloons, showed up in front of them as they came out of a store.
- Diane was attracted by the balloons and picked her favorite one.
- Chris also got a balloon and laughed.
- A group of children ran over and gathered around the clown, choosing the balloons they liked.
- Emily was blocked by the crowd. She was pushing further and further away from Chris and Diane. It made her worry.
- Diane held the balloon with a beautiful fairy printed on it. She thought that the fairy looked like Emily and wanted to show it to her.
- "Mommy..." Diane shouted anxiously in the crowd. She couldn't find Emily.
- Then a pair of hands reached out from behind her, with one hand holding a piece of cloth. It covered her nose, and there was a strange smell from the cloth. Diane felt dizzy. Before she fainted, she saw the clown laughing.
- Louise was worried that Chris and Diane would get hurt, so she grabbed Chris. When she was looking for Diane, she found that Diane had disappeared.
- "Diane, where are you?" Louise's voice was lost in the noise of the crowd.
- After the crowd dispersed, Emily rushed over and asked, "Louise, did you see Diane?"
- "No. It must be the clown who took Diane away." Louise was also worried.
- Emily looked around anxiously. "He's there!" She found the clown and then rushed over.
- "Emily, wait for me." Louise held Chris and shouted from behind.
- "Catch him! Catch that clown! He had my child! He took Diane!" Emily yelled as she ran.
- The clown carried a big bag in his arms. He quickly got through the crowd.
- A car stopped in front of the clown. He opened the door and got in. Then, it quickly drove away. Emily had no time to catch up with it.
- They had taken Diane away. Emily only wanted to get Diane back safely.
- She chased the car madly, but the distance between her and the car grew further and further.
- At this time, a car stopped next to her.
- "Get in the car."
- It was Louise. She took Chris and drove over.
- It was getting dark.
- Louise followed the clown's car. They moved further and further away, and there were almost no other cars around.
- Suddenly, the clown's car stopped. Louise slammed the brakes too.
- Two more cars suddenly appeared in front of her, and six strong men came out.
- They stood in a row, and the clown was behind them, protected by them.
- Louise unbuckled her seat belt and said to Emily, "You and Chris wait for me in the car."
- After that, Louise got out of the car.
- Emily knew that Louise could handle these six people.
- She hugged Chris tightly and comforted him in a low voice, "Don't worry, Chris. Diane and Louise will be fine."
- Chris knew that Louise was trying to get Diane back, so he nodded.
- "Bitch, this is none of your business. You should stay out of it."
- "Leave now, or we will beat you up too."
- The six men surrounded Louise. They did not believe that she could defeat them.
- Louise was wearing a long dress, which made it difficult for her to move. She tore the hem of her skirt and tied her hair with it.
- "First, I hate those who kidnap children. Second, I hate those who had no respect for women. Third, you ruined my day with my best friend."
- Louise rushed forward and punched them. "You'd better pray that my anger will subside soon."
- Her movements were so swift that they couldn't dodge her. She knocked them to the ground.
- They felt that their ribs were broken.
- Louise clapped her hands. Emily took Chris out of the car.
- The six men lay on the ground, moaning in pain. Louise walked past them. At that moment, she was like a queen.
- She knocked on the car window. "Mr. Clown, get out."
- The clown took Diane out of the car and he was terrified.
- Louise knocked on the driver's side window again. The driver raised his hands and walked out.
- "My baby, Diane." Emily snatched the unconscious Diane from the clown's arms. Her tears came down as she kissed Diane.
- Louis gave the clown and the driver a hard lesson. They were beaten up badly.
- The other six men knew how ferocious Louise was, so they didn't even dare to groan, afraid that she would beat them again.
- "Wait a minute." When Louise was about to leave, Emily stopped her. "There's one more thing."
- Emily crouched and grabbed the clown's neck. "Who sent you to kidnap Diane? Tell me now."
- "Laura. It's Laura," the clown quickly said. "She asked me to kidnap two children, but that little boy was too clever..."
- "Emily." Louise looked at her anxiously.
- "Don't worry, Louise. I knew she was behind this. Let's go and take Diane to the hospital first."
