Her acting skills were so good that she never blinked when she lied and continued to tell Jonathan what happened, “She said I would be deserted by you sooner or later, so I was infuriated.” She sobbed and choked, "I know it's wrong!"
• "You already knew me, " I said as I intended to argue with her, Jonathan interrupted me calmly: "It’s okay! I'll speak.”
