Chapter 9 Wrath
- “Someone has messed with Asura's family!” replied Jonathan.
- As he spoke, Jonathan took out his phone and showed Alistair the video that had been circulating online.
- After watching the video, Alistair was so angry that his whole body was trembling.
- “F*ck!”
- At that moment, he understood why Fabian got so furious that he left Mount Kranos ahead of time.
- He had made significant contributions to the Clusia, and yet, his family was treated so poorly. Anyone in his shoes would be outraged.
- “Who on earth is so audacious? How dare they harm Asura's family!” Alistair questioned.
- “It's that man's grandson!” Jonathan replied helplessly.
- If he weren't that person's grandson, any one of these guys could have protected Asura's family with ease.
- They simply couldn't do anything against that person's grandson.
- A year ago, that man's grandson had his legs crippled by Asura, so his hatred for Asura had reached its peak.
- Naturally, he would strike back with everything he had.
- Upon hearing this, Alistair also felt a wave of helplessness.
- That person's status in Clusia is so extraordinary that even the ruler had to show him some respect.
- “F*ck! He's planning to use the entire power of Clusia to kill Asura!” Alistair was incredibly furious.
- Jonathan, however, shook his head. “I'm afraid it's not that simple. There's a powerful and mysterious elite beside Asura. Even Eighteen Shadows was no match for him. Those who try to stop them will most likely get killed by the elite next to Asura.”
- “What? Are you sure the elite next to Asura is really that powerful?” Alistair asked in utter shock.
- Jonathan nodded emphatically. “Absolutely. We saw him wipe Eighteen Shadows out with our own eyes!”
- The expression on Alistair's face changed dramatically.
- “F*ck! That b*stard plans to use Asura and the mysterious elite beside him to wipe out all our top fighters from Clusia! There's no telling how many elites will die if Asura fights his way back! Right now, a few of the great war gods have been dispatched to intercept Asura. That mysterious elite by Asura's side is capable of slaying even Eighteen Shadows, so killing the Five War Gods should not be a problem for him. When that happens, all of our country's elites will have fallen. If the Five War Gods also perish, then we will not have anyone guarding our borders. Those enemy nations that have been eyeing us covetously will certainly not miss this opportunity.”
- The mere thought of it made Alistair break out in a cold sweat.
- “No, I must meet the king!”
- Suddenly, one of the subordinates rushed in hurriedly, his face filled with panic.
- “This is bad, Boss! I just got some news. Fifth Nation has suddenly emerged and has already appeared in the open sea. It seems they want to wage war against us!”
- “What!”
- This news once again startled Alistair, causing his eyelids to twitch uncontrollably and his body to tremble involuntarily.
- The expressions on Jonathan and his companions' faces dramatically changed, their hearts trembling wildly with shock.
- Fifth Nation is a powerful force that even the strongest nations fear immensely. It is a terrifying beast that no country in the world dares to offend. And now, with chaos reigning within the borders of Clusia, none of the great war gods are present at the frontier. If Fifth Nation were to make a move at this time, Clusia would undoubtedly fall!
- “That b*stard is trying to annihilate Clusia!” Alistair roared with unparalleled fury.
- “Boss, Elder Lexington and the others want you over at the command post!” his subordinate suddenly said.
- “Those b*stards! Now they remember I exist, huh?” Alistair muttered furiously under his breath and hastily left the office.
- He then arrived at the top floor's command post shortly after.
- Several elderly individuals with white hair, often seen on the news, were seated in the conference room. At this moment, their faces were filled with panic, sweat pouring down their backs, and they were visibly restless.
- Naturally, they had already received news of Fifth Nation appearing in the seas beyond Clusia.
- As soon as Alistair entered the conference room, he started yelling loudly, “You stubborn old fools! I told you to support me, not to let that b*stard send people after Asura, but you didn't listen, and now you've given others an opportunity to take advantage of us! If we really get annihilated by Fifth Nation, each and every one of you old fogeys will be responsible for this!”
