Chapter 13 Crisis

• “Oh, right, I almost forgot to tell you. I've planted micro bombs in their bodies, which are now activated.”
• Hearing that, Fabian's expression changed, for he had distinctly sensed an extremely faint mechanical sound coming from his sister's body.
• Fabian quickly inserted several silver needles into Xaviera's body.
• “Asura, ever since you crippled me last year, I've been a dead man walking. The reason I've waited for you for a year and plotted so much is just to let you witness with your own eyes the scene of your family being tortured to death by me!”
• The young man burst into maniacal laughter again.
• “By the way, I forgot to mention, I've planted numerous bombs throughout this mansion as well. The detonators are those micro bombs inside their bodies. Once the micro bombs are disarmed or stopped by you, the bombs in this mansion will activate. Besides that, beneath this mansion are several deadly viruses that I created. If this mansion explodes, these viruses will spread through the air. When that happens, the entire population of Jacaster will be wiped out in an instant!”
• “Asura, the choice is yours. Will you save your family or the entire Jacaster? Hahaha...”
• The young man was laughing wildly, his expression wicked.
• Yet, Fabian remained silent, destroying the computer with a single swipe of his hand.
• Then, he shouted at Eleven, “Get out!”
• “Boss...”
• “Get out; that's an order!” Fabian roared.
• Without daring to say more, Eleven swiftly left the mansion.
• Once Eleven was gone, Fabian quickly sat cross-legged on the ground and forced himself to calm down.
• Subsequently, an indiscernible aura began to emanate from Fabian's body.
• It rapidly enveloped the entire mansion.
• Bang! Bang! Bang!
• As a series of soft sounds began to ring out, the fuses of all the bombs buried around and beneath the mansion were severed.
• After doing all this, Fabian suddenly spewed out a mouthful of blood, his face turning extremely pale.
• Nevertheless, he forcefully held back from passing out, quickly pulling out several silver needles and pricking himself multiple times.
• After a few pricks, a hint of color finally returned to his face.
• Not allowing himself a moment to catch his breath, Fabian hurriedly began searching for the micro bombs inside his sister's and parents' bodies.
• In no time, all the bombs were located. With a casual flick of his hand, Fabian sent several silver needles piercing into the bombs' locations, rendering them all useless.
• But at this moment, Xaviera's body suddenly began to convulse rapidly.
• Her vital signs were rapidly decreasing.
• Her heartbeat and pulse, already incredibly faint to begin with, rapidly ceased to beat.
• Upon sensing that, Fabian's face changed dramatically. He quickly reached out his hand, placing it on the back of Xaviera's chest where her heart was, and transferred the only remaining sliver of force within him into Xaviera's body.
• He hoped that this could help Xaviera cling on to life.
• What truly drove Fabian to despair was that his faint force was utterly incapable of halting the ebbing life of Xaviera.
• Without this trace of force, Fabian simply had no ability to save Xaviera anymore.
• He could only watch helplessly as Xaviera was dying right before his eyes.
• This feeling of powerlessness and despair made Fabian scream out in agony.
• “Boss, the spirit pill!”
• Eleven rushed in from outside, handing a golden pill to Fabian.
• Like clutching at a lifeline, Fabian swiftly popped the pill into Xaviera's mouth.
• Xaviera, whose heartbeat and breathing had already stopped, surprisingly regained a heartbeat, but it was very weak.
• Sensing the faint heartbeat from Xaviera, Fabian became extremely excited. He immediately yelled at Eleven, “Get Seven here for me, now! Hurry!”
