- Mr. Smith kept flogging Miss Lola until blood oozed out of her ears, nose and mouth. He pushed his anger into the belt he was using to whip her.
- "Sir, I think she is dead," Lee reported when he noticed that the lady wasn't moving again.
- "She has to die again!" Mr. Smith screamed. He removed his shirt and told them to bring Cynthia too. "I gave them everything, yet they sold me out without hesitation!!"
