Chapter 12 Road To Death

• Ethan: (facially disapproving her decision) "C'mon, Isabell. Are you helping me or not?" He asked unamused.
• Isabell leaned forward, ensuring eye-to-eye contact with him. "I am certainly helping you Ethan. Trust me, you are going to need my help and I know you are not going to survive a whole day without me. This is me lending you a helping hand. So?" She said hastily and wrapped her arms around her, giving a listening ear to hear him out.
• Ethan was silent at the moment, wondering why she never seem to understand that he rather wants her to watch over Sissy and little Brooke than the other way round. After a moment of silence, Sissy spoke... "Ethan, what are you saying about her offer to help?" ... breaking the silence, Ethan blinked his eyelids and replied without thinking. "Okay, fine. How do you intend keeping these two safe because they are definitely not coming with me to D.C. United." He expressed himself with all alacrity because he wanted her to understand him.
