Emily touched up her makeup in the bathroom. As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, it always seemed like there was something beneath the surface of her face. However, upon closer inspection, she couldn't discern anything.
She had visited the doctor multiple times, desperately trying to unravel the mystery behind her memory loss. Frustratingly, no answers were forthcoming. The only options left were either to live her life in a perpetual state of confusion or to suddenly remember everything from the past.
An underlying feeling persisted within her that someone was eagerly awaiting her return home.
