• I smiled as I watched the men jubilate around me. I knew how strung up everyone was and was relieved that they could relax. I glanced at Kevin to see how he was doing and smiled as I saw him. He looked better than he had been for the past few days. He had his arms around Ella's waist and kissed her so passionately that I wondered if he knew that we were all still out in the open field and they weren't alone. With the way Ella held on to him, I didn't doubt that she had also forgotten that we were here.
