Chapter 29 I Once Saved A Little Boy
- Fiona’s POV
- I pick up the necklace and tenderly brush the wolf on the emblem, careful not to disturb the broken pieces. There is a crack on it and every time I look at it, a sense of loss grips me. It is the only thing I have of my mother, the only thing she passed down to me.
- I had taken to get it fixed but the jeweller told me it would need to be altered in a way that changed its appearance and I couldn’t go through with it. I couldn’t bear to transform it in any way.
