As the disease progresses, they forget many things and their mental faculties regress to that of a child, eventually reaching a state of complete dementia."
- The doctor paused before adding, "But do you know what? Even when their mental capacity is diminished, many memories stick with them—the most profound ones. Just like your wife, even if she forgets, it doesn't mean she has lost everything. If she truly loves you, then even if she forgets, she might fall in love with you all over again."
