• Aakifahlynn's last thought was about her parents. She needed to get to them, but all she could muster was, "My... paren..." she whispered, barely audible. She did not get to finish...but The Emperor heard her.
• But it's not like she expected him to help her. Aakifahlynn's plan was to deal with that when she got to her destination. Hopefully, it was at least a maid's quarters.
