• Amber’s POV
• “Hey!!”, I heard my mate’s voice from the other side of the phone. I tried to calm down my stupid heart who had just pounding loudly.
• “Hi...Hi Alex”, I said in a low tone. For a while, I didn’t hear anything from the other side. “Hello…you there?”, I asked and looked at the mobile to check whether the call had been disconnected? “Is my voice audible to you?”, I asked again, thinking there would be some network problem.
