• Even from afar, Amanda saw a few familiar silhouettes standing outside the entrance. When she got closer, she recognized who they were. West, Norwood, and… Maya. Norwood and Maya froze for a long while before they helped him up, then they saw her shadow on the ground. They looked up and met her eyes, then everyone's attention fell on her.
• The sight of Amanda sent an electric current coursing through Maya's veins, and her eyes went wide in disbelief. Even though Damian didn't want to date her for the last five years, there hadn't been any women around him, so Maya thought she was the most special of them all.
