Chapter 5

• Monalisa's POV
• The car finally came to a halt before the magnificent building. My mother in-law had booked one of the best expensive five star hotel in Chicago.
• "Are you planning on coming down
• or do you want me to push you out? " Alex sneered.
• I gave him a hard stare before pushing open the car's door and stepped out. He came down too, brought out the bags and without saying a word to me, he walked into the hotel.
• I followed suit. As soon as the receptionist saw us approaching, she scurried over to us.
• "Good afternoon sir. I have been.. sorry, I mean we have been waiting for your arrival. Welcome" The lady, grinned. She was dressed corporately in a short black skirt, white jacket and boots.
• "My room please?" Alex said a bit curtly.
• "Oh sorry. Please come with me"
• They both walked towards the staircase. I can't believe this! Is this dumb lady acting as if she can't see me or is she just being dumb?
• I followed after them.
• "I have heard a lot about you sir and I can't believe I'm walking beside you right now. It is such a privilege" The lady grinned as we clacked down the hallway.
• Alex just kept quiet, such a rude jerk! Just then, my eyes fell on Alex. He was dressed in a blue jeans and yellow t shirt. He is not even dressed in his usual standard and this lady is already throwing herself on him. I wonder what she would do when she sees him standardly dressed.
• "Sir. My name is Angela and I am still single" The annoying lady, blabbed.
• I scoffed. Seriously?
• "You are so handsome sir and I will like to take a picture with you someday"
• " Can you stop talking already? You are already pissing off" Alex shunned and she stopped talking.
• Finally! Good riddance. She stopped talking and went silent. Only the sounds of people chattering and laughing from the rooms were heard.
• "Your room, please" The lady finally spoke, pointing towards a door with "Room 203" boldly imprinted on the door post.
• She pushed open the door and Alex walked in, she was about to go in too but I stopped her.
• "I don't think we will be needing your service for now, so good bye" I fired and slammed the door at her face.
• How dare her try to make me feel invincible?
• "Good riddance" I heard Alex mutter and I scoffed.
• I ran my eyes around the large room which was beautifully decorated with rose flowers and wall papers which had the drawings of heart on them. The bed was covered with a white bed sheet which was fully inscribed with "love" all over it. What the heck is going on? This is so cheeky.
• My eyes fell on a red lingerie on the bed. I raised it up and a paper fell from it. I bent down and picked up the paper and there was something written on it.
• "Wear this to look sexy and seducing" I read aloud. What the heck is this?
• I heard someone laugh and I looked up to see Alex staring at me with a mischievous smile.
• "What? Why are you staring?"
• "Are you...uhm.. going to put on that? " He stuttered.
• I furrowed my brows. " Why? Do you want me to? "
• "Who knows? I'm sure you must be dying to seduce me right?"
• I scoffed. " You have lost it. I am sure you are the one behind this. You are so shameless"
• "What? Why would I do that? You are not even type "
• I hissed. Not his type?
• " You are not my type either" I snapped and flinged out the stupid dress into the waste basket outside. I really don't have the strength to exchange words with him.
• I emptied my clothes from the bag and arranged it into the wardrobe. I took my towel and night gown and was about going to the bathroom when Alex stood in front of me.
• "What are you doing?" I asked, confused.
• "I want to bath first, you can bath when I am done"
• " What?"
• " You heard me right, so go sit down and wait"
• " No, I won't. Are you deliberately trying to step on my toes? You are not even ready" I complained.
• He slowly unbuckled his shirt with his eyes still fixed on me.
• " What do you think you are doing?" I fired.
• He didn't reply rather he pulled off his shirt revealing his muscular chest and my jaw dropped in shock.
• Oh my gosh! This is so enticing.
• "Hey. Can you hear me?" Alex snapped his finger, bringing me back to reality. I swallowed hard and quickly turned my back at him.
• "Please put on your shirt"
• "Why? Does it have any effect on you?" He whispered and I felt shiver go down my spine. This is so creepy.
• " Don't be full of yourself. Just because other girls easily gets influenced by you doesn't mean I am also like them" I almost yelled. " Just put on your shirt and get off my way"
• "No.. I am now prepared to take my bath, so just back down"
• " Don't you dare Alex.
• "Accept defeat dear. But you can join me if you want to. " He chuckled and rushed Into the bathroom.
• I turned to stop him but he was gone.
• "Alex! Come out of there now. I was supposed to get in before you" I bellowed, banging hardly on the door.
• " Don't hurt your hands darling, if you want to share a bath with me, just let me know. You don't have to pretend" He loudly replied from the bathroom and gave out a loud laugh.
• " I hate you. You will pay for this" I snapped as I grumbly walked back and sat on the couch.
• I can't believe I will be spending a week alone with this jerk, I just hope I don't end up becoming a murderer.I must think of a way to make him pay, I won't let him get away with this.
