• His words softened Maya's heart, and she could sense the sincerity in his voice. She tried to move closer to him, but something held her back. Her mind was racing with doubts, wondering if he truly meant what he said. He had treated her so poorly years ago, making her feel like she didn't matter. Now, here he was, professing his love. She needed answers. "What changed?" she wondered aloud. John looked at her, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "A lot has changed," he said quietly.
• Jason left Maya's office as he was eager to find Lizzy and put an end to her antics once and for all.As he got into his car, he thought about how calm Maya had been when he professed his love for her, he knew it was his fault for treating her badly in the past, but he didn't blame her for not believing in his words, he hasn't given her any reason not to doubt him in the past, A smile came to his face as he thought of his son. he regretted not being there when he was born and not being able to nurture and watch him grow, but he vowed to make up for lost times as he was willing to do everything for his son and Maya, he wanted to show off his son to the whole world but he needed to take one step at a time, he was grateful that Maya allowed him to be in his son's life."What more can he ask for?"he thought inwardly,he sighed, letting out a deep sigh of relief as he instructed the driver to head towards his company as he had a lot on his desk.
• The sun was shining brightly as Jason's car pulled up to the front of his company. He took a deep breath before getting out of the car, knowing that the next few hours would be filled with meetings and paperwork. But his mind was still on Maya and his son. He wondered how he could
