• Aurora walked out of the proprietor's office in anger, slamming the door as if she would just pull it off.
• "You are allowed to join the other students for training immediately, Amaya," The proprietor declared, causing an elated buzz in my system.
• "Thank you, Alpha!" I responded, and he dismissed me. I walked outside with Alpha Dax. But then, I didn't know why I was having this negative feeling about it. Though I felt applauded and appreciated by his words, there was this void in me I could not explain.
