Chapter 6

• Alex's point of view:
• I completed the files and I made sure there is nothing wrong with them. I even checked them over and over again because I don't want my silly boss to complain about them and ask me to do them again. I checked the time and it was 10 minutes after our closing time.
• I went to his door with all the files in my hands so I didn't bother to knock. He was talking to someone on his phone. I guess it was his wife because of the kisses, romantic words and his smiles. This is my first time seeing him smile. I used the opportunity to look close to him and memorized his face, hair and muscles. He has brown hair, blue eyes and also he has a pointed nose. His lips are so sensual that it makes me want to kiss him. Also a defined jaw wow. What the fuck? I am thinking about rubbish. I can't believe I am imagining myself with him. My boss, to be precise.
• "Miss winter, stop staring" I didn't know he had finished calling.Oh! What a disgrace. I immediately composed myself and put the files on his table.
• "I am done with these files and I have your schedule for this week. Can I go sir?" I asked I am fucking tired.
• "Yes you can go, but if you make a single mistake in these files, you will start all over."
• "Good night sir" I left his office. I ran to mine and carried my bag even though I ran to the lift so I won't hear my name being called by him.
• I left the company. I have been waiting for the past 5 minutes for a cab to board but there ain't any. My feet are paining me, this heel is a leg killer. I heard a sound of a car beside me but I didn't bother to check or see the car.
• "Alex" I heard my name. It is James. OMG.
• "Hey James, what's up?" I smiled. I don't know why he is stalking me, I mean we are done, can't he even understand and respect that fact? I will make sure he won't get back to me.
• "To earth, Alex" he waved his finger before me, I got my attention on him now. "you have been standing here for the past five minutes. And I know you are uncomfortable so as a gentleman I want to give you a lift to your house." He emphasized the last words. I won't enter his car. Not even over my dead body.
• "Thank you but you know, my lift is coming" I said to him hoping he will go away soon.
• "You have been ....." An audible honk interrupted him. Thank God.
• We both looked at the direction of the honk. My eyes widened when I saw Mr Winslow in the car as he rolled down his car window.
• The expression on his face was blank. Shit! But this is my opportunity to get out of this trash.
• "What are you guys doing here? It is already dark and it is a bit dangerous" he said gently but still glaring at me and James.
• "Actually Mr Winslow, his car has a problem so he already called his car mechanic before you got here, you don't have to worry about him. His repairman is on his way, but as for me, I have been waiting for my lift since. So please will you give me a lift, sir?" I lied, asking him with my best puppy facial expression.
• He scowled but I ignored it. James wanted to talk but was interrupted by Mr Winslow. I love this.
• "Okay, get in but as for you, make it snappy it is already late" he whined up his glass after his speech. Victory!
• No one messes with Alex Winter. I went to the other side of the car and opened the passenger door, and I got in.
• "Your address?" he asked without glancing at me, he was concentrating on the road. I told him my address.
• "I guessed you used me to get out of that situation" Shit he knows.
• I looked out of the window without replying to him.
• Six months later:
• Richard's point of view:
• It has been six months since she started working for me, which is great.
• But the problem is that I get boner when she is too near to me, when she swings her hips out of my office or whenever she is walking angrily, when I stare at her too much.
• I never get boner with Ava except if she seduces me or when I get horny, so how come I do get boner with her?
• I don't Know why I stare at her so much. Yes, she is beautiful but that's so wrong because number one; I am a married man and I have a lovely family. Two; she is my personal assistant which means I am her employer so clearly we can't have any relationship. It is against the rules of the company that I laid down myself. Three; I don't think she likes me like I do. If I start thinking of this nonsense, I will just ruin my entire life.
• I can't sack her just because of my feelings. She has been helping me lately even though she makes my work easier. Alex knows her place so didn't even try to flirt with me, so where did I get those feelings from?
• I kept on saying it is only an infatuation for the past five and a half months.
• I avoided her in all the ways I could but it is still the same. My feelings towards her are increasing so then I decided to make her my friend. I even take her to one of my penthouses during the weekend, just to make her feel comfortable. I told her that she works too much which is not good for her health, but it is just an excuse to let her stay in my penthouse. I never cared about my employee before even now but I do care about Alex Winter and SHE IS DISTURBING MY BRAIN. I never really have this kind of feelings towards Ava, don't get me wrong, I always busied myself with work that I don't think I feel this kind of stuff towards her but to Alex?
• Let's just say I am attracted to my personal assistant which is not good at all but some parts of my body do not feel bad about it even though they are probably rejoicing.
• I hate when she is with another man, especially James. I get angry when I see them together and I snap at her. The look she always gave me is 'hope nothing is wrong, man?' but I don't care, I just don't want to see her with other men.
• But seriously I really need to take her out of my mind because I am happily Married. I know this is the second time I've said that word but I seriously need to.
• Gosh! I don't even think she likes me in that way but I will make her get attracted to me the way I am attracted to her if I can get her out of my head.
• A knock interrupted my thought. I am certain that it is Alex.
• "Come in," I said in a faint tone. The door opened and revealed Alex. She entered coming straight to me. Where my eyes are going is her chest. She wore a pink shirt with the first two buttons open. That is where my eyes are. Her cleavage. I can see her cleavage through those opened buttons. I am really controlling my gaze but it is not working.
• "........spain. She finished her speech. I Was not even listening. I am very sure she does not know that her buttons are open.
• It seems she caught me because she gasped and quickly buttoned up.
• My eyes are now fully looking at her. I cleared my throat.
• "What were you saying, miss winter?" I asked her. She glared at me and I smirked at her in return.
• "I was saying that you have a business in Spain and I have booked where you will stay there. You have to go tomorrow because it is very urgent. Have fun in Spain sir." she blabbered.
• "Yeah I know that. Get ready by 6 o'clock tomorrow, you are following me
• "What?" she gasped..
• It is time to make her mine if she can't get away from my head.
• I know what I am doing is wrong though but I can't help it.
