• I was baffled by Jovie’s promise. That made me wonder how she was going to deliver happiness to the community. How is she going to do that? While I was trying to figure that out, Jovie added, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’ll make sure you live a good life from now on, but each of you must offer us a day’s meal every week!”
• After hearing her reply, everyone else began to panic. “We’re struggling to feed ourselves, so how exactly do you expect us to offer you food?”
• “I haven’t drunk a single drop of water since yesterday afternoon.”
