• In the next few days, Ye Moxuan did not chase Shen Qi out of the Ye residence, nor did he prohibit her from coming to the company.
• As long as she was at his side, Ye Moxuan would think of all kinds of methods to torture and abuse her.
• Shen Qi was worn out after completing various high-intensity work for one whole week.
• This morning, Shen Qi was about to get up and go to the Ye Group as usual, but she felt discomfort everywhere and her head was dizzy.

• Knock-knock. Just then, someone knocked at the door.
• “Come in.” Looking at the person who came into his office, Ye Moxuan suddenly felt disappointed.
• “Young Master Ye, these are the documents that you need to sign, and this is today’s schedule.” Xiao Su passed over the documents dutifully and continued, “We’ve sent people to check on the hospital, and we haven’t found any suspicious woman at the Gynecology department.”

• Ye Moxuan nodded and continued to focus on his work. However, deep down in his heart, he felt a little discouraged.
• Meanwhile, Shen Qi was queuing to take her number in the hospital. When it was her turn, she told the doctor about her situation, and the doctor looked at her with a strange gaze.
• “Do you often feel sleepy, nauseous, and that your urination frequency has increased recently?”
• Shen Qi nodded fervently. “What’s wrong with me, doctor? It doesn’t seem like a common flu…”
• The doctor looked at her helplessly and continued, “When is the last time you had your period?”

• She lowered her head to look at her flat tummy, finding it hard to believe.

• She woke up from hunger, and so she went downstairs to find some food while rubbing her belly.
• While she was walking down the stairs, some of the maids passed by, and one of them bumped into her on purpose.

• “Oh! It’s the Second Young Lady! I thought you were a maid. I’m sorry! Do you need me to help you up?” Despite saying that, the maid didn’t have any intention to help her up.
• Shen Qi took a glance at the sassy maid without saying anything. She then got up in silence and continued to walk downstairs.
• However, she didn’t expect the maid to not let her go even when she didn’t want to cause any trouble.
• “Tsk, do you think that you’re Cinderella who got married to Prince Charming? You can’t even be a maid if our Second Young Master doesn’t like you!”
• “That’s right! Look at her shabby looks; who would recognize her as the Young Lady? I heard that the Second Young Master called her his care worker!”
• “If I were her, I would have packed my things and left instead of being a disgrace like this.”
