• As his lips crushed against mine, the world outside the room ceased to exist. Whatever purpose had brought me here was now out of my head, drowned beneath the surge of heat and urgency radiating between us. Maybe—just maybe—this was what I had come here for all along. Exercise had never been my strong suit anyway.
• With a single, swift motion, he swept the clutter from his desk, sending papers and pens scattering to the floor. His lips left mine, trailing down my neck with deliberate precision, igniting a fire beneath my skin. Each kiss and nip coaxed a molten ache that pooled low in my stomach and sent shivers spiraling through me.
