Chapter 28 Telling The Truth

• “I need to talk to you.” I said to Jet, pushing aside my plate after I was finished with dinner. Jet paused and nodded his head, before putting his fork down.
• “When you told me that story about your injury, I knew that you were lying. I can't explain it, but something, inside of me, told me that what you said was far from the truth. What are you not telling me, Jet?” I asked and he sighed. I could tell that there was a battle going on with him, but he should know that I'm not going to run, no matter what.
