Chapter 39 Another Problem

• I drove long hours to the suburbs of town, and ended up renting an inn there to stay the night. I had planned to go to a five-star hotel initially, but I changed my mind and remained at the peaceful nature inn.
• When an email notification came up on my phone, I hurriedly checked it to see what it was about, but was quickly disappointed when I realized that it wasn't what I wanted. I was looking for my mum, and I heard she had moved to the Czech Republic. It had been fifteen years since she left, and it was hard for me to act like I didn't care.
