Chapter 6 Wedding

  • Alexander
  • "Damn! She never stops talking!" I said it angrily.
  • Red, my foolish wolf, replied, "Stubborn, but her curves are amazing! Ah, I long to touch her, Alex!"
  • I rolled my eyes and said with disgust, "Shut up, you idiot! Who do you want to love? She's a renegade. Have you forgotten what I got myself into with Ramon, the leader of Artemis' pack?"
  • Red scoffed, "Really?! Then why did you bring her here?!"
  • I hesitated, struggling to find a convincing response. I cast a quick glance at her as I bent my right knee and leaned against the edge of the bed, cradling her limp body in my arms after being forced to silence her by force.
  • I recalled the frown on her face when our foreheads collided. Despite trying to be merciful in my blow, a wave of guilt washed over me. Before I could utter a word, Red spoke again, his mockery unmistakable. Through the link between us.
  • Damn it! What are you thinking, Alex? Are you trying to justify your actions? Do you think your lies will deceive me?
  • The only fool here is you. You and I are one person; your thoughts are under my control, so don't bother thinking.
  • I muttered with disgust and resentment, "I'm tired of you. Who said I was trying to convince you of anything?. I'm the one in control here, not you."
  • Tonight, after the completion of the festivities and the declaration of peace, I will also become the leader of Artemis' pack. One step separates me from my dream. I am sure if my father were here now, he would be proud of me.
  • Red said sarcastically, "I'm proud of your brilliant choices!. What the hell did you get us into, leader?! You haven't even seen your bride yet. You're just getting married for your own good and the good of the pack. This is ridiculous! This is the height of absurdity!"
  • I shook my head in disapproval, shouting angrily, "Enough of this mockery! What did you want me to do? I have not seen that silly girl since our initial encounter in the wild two years ago. For two years, I have searched tirelessly for her, like a needle in a haystack. And tell me, what madman would refuse such an irresistible offer?!"
  • "Assuming that "Hela," Ramon's daughter, is as disagreeable as you say, wouldn't my lordship over the pack and her father's lordship intercede on marrying her?"
  • Red roared in anger, "This offer is suspicious! How can a father devalue his daughter to this extent?! He presents her to you as a wife, and on top of that, he hands you his position?!. There's no doubt that there's a mystery behind that."
  • "Hela Marcos is not our mate either."
  • Our strength comes from the rogue, you stupid. Alex, realize that this rebel has increased our strength, and we haven't even tagged her yet. Imagine what happens after we leave our mark on her!"
  • "Damn it, buddy. Her control means absolute dominance for Alpha Alexander over the entire region." Reid muttered as he added
  • A knock on the door of the suite I had assigned her pulled me out of a discussion that had turned into a struggle between me and my wolf. Red had always been under my control, but now he started to disagree with me. I answered the one who knocked on the door with a few words.
  • "What do you want?"
  • "Your Excellency, Lady Ritchie, requests your immediate presence." The guard spoke respectfully.
  • "Why does she want me to be there?!" I asked him angrily.
  • "Because the wedding procession is on the outskirts of the village, your Majesty," the guard replied.
  • When I remembered that today was my wedding day, my face frowned. There was no escape anymore. I said with annoyance, "Tell everyone to get ready to welcome the procession, and I will join you later."
  • Red sighed and replied, "Welcome to the battles; our mate will not let this go easily."
  • After a short time, I moved among my men, with Richie holding my right arm. She walked gracefully, raising her nose high.
  • The entire pack was lined up on both sides. Enthusiasm prevailed on the faces of those following this event, except for me, as I was devoid of passion.
  • Roses were scattered along the path, and the bride's procession approached, preceded by torches. The procession bearers bowed down so that lists touched the ground, and a girl peered out from behind the adorned curtains of the carriage.
  • I approached without interest and extended my palm to her.
  • She stepped out of the procession with pride and arrogance, ignoring my outstretched hand, and said with annoyance, "Do I have to wait all this time for you to grace me with your presence?!"
  • I smiled with pursed lips, trying to suppress my anger, while I felt Red's gloating. I whispered to her in a low voice, "Shut your mouth and let this pass peacefully; don't test my patience."
  • Inside the palace hall, adorned with oil-lit chandeliers, the girls played melodies on stringed instruments.
  • The celebrations have begun. The wedding started with a hoop dance performed by myself and my wife, who became the pack's official luna when the sage said the vows.
  • Suddenly, a scream rang out, and its owner unleashed a torrent of vulgar phrases.
  • "You, you sissy?! Why did you order your men to detain me? Come here and talk to me like a man, you son of a b*tch!"
  • A hush fell over the room, and astonishment spread across the faces of the attendees while my grip on Hila's waist tightened, causing her to moan in pain.
  • I left them in a state of shock and ascended the stairs with wide strides, every muscle in my body tensed, ready to commit a crime.
  • A scandal that time will never erase—the Alpha Alexander being humiliated in front of his pack, in his own palace, and in the presence of such a large crowd, with vulgar words?! She had sentenced herself to death at that moment.
  • The guards of the wing tried to prevent her from leaving, but she refused to surrender and continued to curse at them, scratching their faces and bodies with her nails, leaving a bloody mark on every place her hands touched.
  • I raised my voice and shouted, ordering them to make way. I grabbed her arm and pushed her inside, shouting a warning in her face: "Shut up, you insolent woman! What is this nonsense you're talking about?! I'll cut your head off right now!"
  • Her steadfastness did not waver, but she laughed mockingly, saying, "You frightened me to the point where my feet can barely carry my body. Tell these two men to let me out of here immediately, instead of hanging their heads as decorations for your wedding, you madman."
  • A gasp of disapproval came from behind me, and I turned around to see that Hela had followed me here, asking with disdain, "Who is this?! And what are those filthy words coming out of her mouth?
  • I approached Sophia and whispered in her ear, "Killing you will bring your relief."
  • Then I screamed in a loud voice, alternating my gaze between them, "You are my wife, and she will be my mistress, and I intend to bring you and her together in the same house. It's over, and I don't want any discussion."
  • Sophia and Hela reverberate with one voice, "Damn!"
